How do you display your helmets?  Do you have them on a shelf?  In a plastic case?

I had been struggling for years trying to think of how I was going to retrofit my house to display my helmets somewhere.  Was I going to put shelves on the walls all over a man cave?  Would I do built-in shelves?  The problem was expense and hassle.  Then I found an easy, flexible, and much cheaper option.

Enter - IKEA Detolf glass cabinets...

Look - They look cool and give your helmets a nice modern feel
Flexible/Portable - can move them around to different rooms
Inexpensive - $59 each

So I drove to the nearest IKEA (they won't ship these as they are heavy glass), bought 5 of these, and now have 20 helmets displayed how I want them.

Just wanted to pass this one forward.  [smile]

All NFL helmets except one - UW LaCrosse - my hometown! Nice. I just bought a UWL Kelley Clear Shell about two weeks ago - back when they were the Indians not the Eagles.

Take a pic of your Kelly Clear UWL Indians, I'd love to see it.

Andres - Awesome! I went to Platteville in the 80's as my mother would not let me stay in LaCrosse! I posted the UWL clear shell under the clear shell post in the game used section.

Love the UW-L helmet. I went to college there and made it to the final cuts back in 2001, wish i would have kept my training camp helmet. La Crosse Aquinas grad as well.

I've adjusted the attached arrangement and will post a better pic soon. These are my Iowa State Cyclone helmets (many more to show from other teams later).

Those are all very impressive collections!  Do you make/build them yourself or buy them on eBay or another market?  Besides eBay, where is the best place to buy helmets?
